Eddy’s house was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with dishes, serving utensils, small appliances, etc. which made cooking a breeze. The bedrooms were very comfortable and we had more than enough towels and linens for our stay. This spacious home and quiet neighbourhood was perfect for our family’s relaxing stay. I highly recommend this property!!

Sandra and Sonya have a fantastic home in a lovely neighbourhood. All the amenities, with a well-equipped kitchen. Two minutes to the beach, and a five minute walk to our son’s wedding venue. It was absolutely perfect for us. Thank you Sandra and Sonya!

Emily’s house was a dream and is highly recommended. Our family of 5 (with 3 kids under 10) spent a week at Emily’s house while in Ottawa to help out a family member. We were so grateful for Emily’s hospitality. As we were there during yet another wave of the pandemic, coupled with virtual school, we were basically in lockdown at the house - it could have been a very unpleasant week. Instead, it was truly wonderful to have Emily’s beautiful home to feel grounded in. The house was clean, comfortable, exactly as represented in the pictures, and we were struck by the attention to detail. The communication with Emily was perfect. After a week in the house, we joked about staying a week longer! There is no doubt that we will return.

Amazing property and hosts. Erin & Sadique were extremely responsive and answered all our questions. They even provided a high chair for my daughter on request. The property is expansive and you will truly feel like you have a private lake. The living room is so spacious and the wood makes it feel cozy despite the big size. The rooms are top notch much much better than your average Air BnB sinking mattresses. The bathroom in the main bedroom on the ground floor is just amazing. Our group made full use of the hot tub, easily accommodated 5 at a time and was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend this place!

paul’s bnb was super clean, comfortable & exactly like the pictures. the beds were super comfy which is an added plus. stalked with everything needed to enjoy your stay. would definitely book again. quick drive downtown and minutes away from the airport

Wonderful place for a family getaway! The house was located near everything we needed & it was just like the pictures. Everyone had their own space & there were plenty of things for the kids to do in the house while I got some remote work done. If you want to enjoy city life, downtown Ottawa is a short drive away. My family enjoyed the restaurants & museums there & enjoyed returning back to the house to relax. This was our first visit to the region & we had a very pleasant stay. Looking forward to visiting again!

We stayed here for a few days. Just a family of 3, so we had loads of space. Check-in was easy and the place was as described on the listing. We loved the location because it was easy to walk into downtown Ottawa or grab a short Uber ride there. Near downtown but far enough so it was much more of a residential neighborhood. Close to the University which is great if you have kids there or wanting to tour campus. Could see families out for walks and students on the way to the University. The living room and dining area were perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. Very pleased. Would definitely stay again!

The place was great. Very clean and spacious. 3 bathrooms was super helpful with 6 adults and the theatre area in the basement was very cool. There is not too much that is walkable but everything you could possibly need is off the main road so I would recommend a vehicle and there is driveway parking so that was super helpful. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Great place to stay with a small group of folks. Nice big square dining table for dinners, private backyard with hot tub, and tons of space to spread out and relax when needed. Would definitely stay again!

Magnifique maison, Arian est tellement accueillant qu’il vous donne envie de revenir dans sa demeure Tout était parfait la maison est trop grande et très bien équipé je vous recommande vivement et aussi il très proches du centre ville contrairement aux autres annonces sur Airbnb j’étais surpris. En bref c’est une très belle maison luxueuse.

The home looked exactly like the pictures and was very well maintained, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet yet was a 2mins drive to restaurants and the shopping plaza..I do an annual trip to Ottawa and for sure will book this place..Highly Recommended for anyone traveling with a family or group.

This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

Wonderful place, have booked more than once!

Great place! 4 adults, 3 children. We skied at Camp Fortune 3 days and visited a museum on the fourth. Pictures describe the place very well. Kids played in the huge backyard. We also went for a 2 hour walk on a trail nearby. It’s a house with character, and can be a bit draughty in some places, and also is unevenly heated. That was our only issue. Nice showers and bathrooms. Comfy beds. Good lighting. Kitchen is well-stocked and spacious. Mud room large and convenient. We would definitely return. Thank you!

Our family complely enjoyed Erin's generously sized house. The indoor pool was one of the amenities that really drew us, and it didnt disappoint! Beautiful, warm, clean and the entire pool area was welcoming and comfortable. Besides that there are so many other activites; these are shown accurately in the photos. The adults enjoyed the pool table area very much in the evenings. Though we never got to using the home theatre, it was a very unique and appealing space. In general all was in good repair in this home. We loved the comfy beds and pristine linen. The kitchen was well thought out and very organized, with plenty of pots, dishes, glasses soap etc. This was a great locating to bring the family together. We would love to return again!

This is a custom house with a very unique layout with direct riverfront access in a private neighbourhood. 5 beds (I believe 3 kings 2 queens), two dining areas, large kitchen and a centralized living space. Games room (pool, table tennis) above the double garage with parking for multiple vehicles (easily 5) on two separate driveways. Large sauna in the basement (it gets quite hot), and a very clean (and comfortable) hot tub on the first floor facing the river. We had a group of 7 and had no issues stretching out after a ski trip. Sound insulation of the house is excellent. Heated floors available in all the bathrooms and what appears to be most of the house. Two of the bedrooms did not have window shades. Dr. Brown was very accommodating with a later checkout time, and is very easy to talk to. This is a very unique airbnb experience.

We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! The children loved the pool and the adults all welcomed the evening hot tub. The flower gardens and pots are stunning. Thanks also for the lovely welcome gifts. We were very spoiled! This was our second time staying at Paul’s cottage and it was a perfect location for a March break with our kiddo and friends. From building snowmen outside, to spending time in the hot tub, to swimming in the indoor pool, there was no time for boredom! The huge dining table was ideal for doing puzzles, diamond dots, bracelet making, etc while still having lots of space to dine. The comfy reclining chairs in the living-room were the perfect spot to relax after active days. The kitchen had everything we needed to store, prep and serve our meals in style Paul is a fantastic host. Quick to check in and respond and so kind. We’re looking forward to booking the cottage again soon.
