Lovely stay at Mangata Mactaquac with a group of friends for the weekend!

Third time here and just as relaxing as always! Enjoyed sitting on the deck birdwatching. An immature bald eagle visited us in the tree nearby! Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare the food we brought. Sound system was great and the bed was comfortable. Loved using the hot tub in the evenings. Perfect getaway spot to disconnect and focus on each other!

This was a beautiful setting overlooking the lake. The apartment was clean, well stocked and comfortable. Looking forward to returning.

We enjoyed our stay so much! Carolyn was very responsive and friendly. She sent lots of helpful tips and reminders. The space itself is beautiful, the decorations were amazing, and the extra Easter decorations (and Easter eggs) were just an added touch. We had 4 adults and two teenage boys in our group and had lots of space. We celebrated a birthday on our final night with a campfire and dip in the hot tub. Would 100% return!

Great place and stay for when we were there! Close to the venue we needed to be at for cheer! Definitely recommend this place for sure!

my husband and I loved this place. We stayed for 3 nights, watched 4 salmon caught right in front of the cabin. We loved the privacy, solitude . We will be back.

It was the perfect place to celebrate my 40th birthday weekend with a few friends! Right from the start we were made to feel welcome with a welcome basket with everything we needed for smores including fire starters and sticks in addition to nice handwritten note. We all loved the cottage inside with more than enough room for both kids and adults to relax or play games, sleep and eat supper. Outside was also great with the bbq, fire pit, propane fire table, especially at night with the amazing stars!), yard games and of course the beautiful lake especially with the leaves at this time of year! We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and a little swimming repeatedly including the last morning after the hosts graciously allowed us to check out a couple hour later! We, especially the kids, also enjoyed the visits from a very friendly pug the hosts had told us would likely drop by. All in all I highly recommend staying at Shore Thing Cottage! We will definitely consider coming back!

Tania's place was spotless when we arrived. Loved the well stocked kitchen, we used many of the provided supplies and everything was in great condition. The wood stove was so warm, tons of kindling and logs provided. Area was quiet and peaceful, and I love that our family dog was a welcome tag along for our getaway. Kids asked to please go back in the summer to enjoy the waterfront and surroundings, I would absolutely book with Tania again!
