The Main floor of this home with it's own Private Entrance, one Kingsize bed, one bathroom and a large kitchen. It is on a nice grassy lot with a long driveway. Easy walking distance to anything downtown, restaurants, shopping, etc. Both beaches are walkable, as well, but you might want to take the short drive if you are hauling coolers and beach toys. FYI - There is an upper level with 2 beds/1 bath available in your rental for additional fee.

The building was originally Manistee National Bank. The recently renovated apartment is where the Bank offices were originally located. It sits on the Manistee River Walk. Guests have easy access to the River Walk for a nice stroll down to Lake Michigan. Welcome to our cottage! This is a modern cottage with all the amenities for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. Our property sits on 5 acres and is bordered by 50,000 acres of the Manistee National Forest. It’s quiet and remote, but centralized to many popular Northern Michigan destinations. Relax around the fire in the evening, and explore all this incredible area has to offer!

The house comfortably sleeps 8 people. There is a fire pit and porch with table and chairs in the backyard for guests to use. The house is 1 mile to Lake Michigan beaches and downtown is easily walkable from the house. The bars and restaurants in Maxwell Town (where the locals hang out) are also easily walkable from the house.

This is our home away from home. It's close to Lake Michigan and Portage Lake, on a quiet and secluded street with plenty of sun and views of nature. The cottage is good for year-round use - golf, hiking, watersports, skiing, or just relaxing are solid options. It’s move-in ready for a weekend or a week.
