31 has the best view of all the chalets the sea is right in front of you, whether the tide is crashing and grey or opal and calm the view is always breathtaking. Enjoy a dram relaxing in front of the log burning stove, pick a bag of logs on your way, and feel at home. Behind the chalet is open fields. I like to walk a little way down the path and sit on the bench, and just take it in, the sound of the sea, a boat going passed, peaceful. When the tides out look for little crabs in the rock pools.

Welcome to 4 Laigh Isle, our self catering holiday chalet on the Isle of Whithorn, which welcomes visitors to the beautiful countryside of Dumfries and Galloway. The Isle of Whithorn is the most southerly tip the Machars and of Southern Scotland. Yvette and I bought the chalet in July 2018 after staying in it , loving it and everything about it. We fell in love with the area and its history and beauty It's a fact The Isle of Whithorn is just magic.

This beautiful stone built cottage dates back to 1790 and is in a wonderful position overlooking the Harbour with spectacular sea views to front and rear. The house is refurbished yet retains charming original features including beamed ceilings and open fireplaces. The cottage is set in a beautiful village, offering lovely walks and is 4 minutes walk from the local Hotel and Restaurant.
