Great location near old town. Our host Ben was an excellent communicative host. Very much appreciated. One minor word of caution, and nothing against the host or accommodations, but the 3 winding circular stair cases to reach the flat were a lot to haul bags up and down. Just something to be aware of for others. Otherwise, it was a great flat and we enjoyed our stay.

The host Daniel was friendly and very helpful. The apartment was fantastic, perfect for a couple. We were in short walking distance to pretty much all of Edinburghs main attractions and felt safe walking around too. We had a great time staying here and highly recommend it to others. This was a very comfortable stay for us. We’re only sorry we did t get to meet Daniel and his dog.

We had a great stay in Jays house. Everything at hand for anything that you need to make a great stay. We found the bed very comfortable gave us a great nights sleep. Location was excellent plenty of bars & cafes within minutes walk and we were in the heart of the city within 20 minutes. Very close to ULEZ so make sure you plan your journey and skirt around it I otherwise it’s a £60/30 fine.

This apartment is well placed within walking distance to many attractions. The apartment was spotless and the kitchen was well appointed. Giovanna and Angelo were very responsive. We would happily stay at the apartment again.

Fantastic place, perfect location to explore Edinburgh with everything you need in your doorstep. Adam is a fantastic host, very accommodating and helpful, made it really easy to check in and enjoy our break. Would certainly recommend.

We had a wonderful weekend with friends at Sally’s place. Absolutely superb location, very central to everything we had booked. Cosy, clean and comfortable. Sally was quick to respond when I contacted her during our stay, thanks.

What an absolutely wonderful apartment. Great loaction, on a wonderful and happy street, full of bars and restaurants but was also civilised and everyone was living their best life and so polite and friendly. Great location to access the trams, princes street, royal mile, leith street. It was beautifully decorated, clean, and had so much character. The host was amazing, giving local information for things to do, best bars and restaurants and how to access the property (which was so clear and concise i had no trouble at all) Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home, will definitely book again.

As a family of 4, we had a great stay at 36b. the place was immaculate when we arrived with a high finish decor. Hosts left us a few essentials which was a lovely touch (thank you). The bedding was super soft and we all slept well after walking all day. This tucked away property meant we felt secluded and safe. Our kids didn't want to leave! We were left clear instructions as to how to find public transport and suggested eateries. We added to their portfolio of sightseeing activities to help future guests enjoy what Edinburgh has to offer. I'd recommend staying here and would visit again.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay during our stay in Edinburgh. Di was friendly and helpful, and we felt very comfortable. The neighbourhood was amazing, and we had fun shopping and trying different restaurants. Easy access to the Royal Mile, and it was lovely to have a quiet spot to return to at the end of the day. Everything was perfect, and we are grateful we had the opportunity to stay at such a lovely location.

Would definitely stay again

I stayed at this wonderful property for a few days right after getting married, kicking off my honeymoon while also showing my new in-laws some of the best parts of the UK. The entire family had a great time here—it’s clean, very spacious, and truly felt like home. We did run into a minor issue with a bathroom leak (a bit of bad luck on my part, I suppose), but the host was incredibly responsive and did everything they could to resolve it quickly. I really appreciate how it was handled and am grateful for the prompt attention. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely property. If I’m ever in Edinburgh again with family or friends, I’d definitely check if this place is available before considering other options in the Old Town area. A big thank you to the superhosts for your kindness, patience, and excellent communication in making sure everything went smoothly during our stay. 🙏🙏♥️

J avais hésité à m éloigner un peu de la vieille ville ! Je ne regrette pas du tout mon choix ! Le temps était avec nous et nous avons pu profiter du jardin et de la terrasse de Usman ! La maison est très agréable, au calme !!! 3 chambres spacieuses, 2 salle de bain , 3 toilettes ! Cuisine indépendante et salon ! Usman est très disponible et super réactif !!! Nous sommes arrivés tard ! Notre premier petit déjeuner nous attendait… La maison est à 2 minutes à pied d un petit supermarché et très bien desservie en bus !!! Il en passe toutes les 5 min pour la vieille ville et on y est entre 20 et 40 min selon les heures et les bus …

Jamie is an absolutely lovely host and the flat is beautiful and spotless. The bus stop right outside is very handy, also the Co Op just around the corner. Not the most salubrious area but nice and quiet. Would definitely stay there again, an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh.

The apartment was easy to find, it is not in the city centre but there are bus stops nearby. We needed to take a bus very early in the morning to the airport and it was easy. The apartment is comfortable and large enough for four people. It is well furnished to have meals in the house. We enjoyed the welcome pack in the fridge. The conservatory and the rear garden are lovely. Enjoy your stay there!

Loved staying here and Marie was the best host. The house was just outside of the main part of the city which made for peaceful evenings and the bus stop was less than a minute walk away and so easy to buy tickets. We did the whole week trip using public transportation and walked to the grocery store around the corner. Marie gave us all the information we needed on how to navigate the city what was nearby and even offered to call us our taxis on departure day. Marie was such a sweet and thoughtful host and the house was so cozy and comfortable for our party of 7 (2 adults 2 seniors and 3 kids 10 and under) if we ever have the chance to make it back to Edinburgh we won’t stay anywhere else!

Perfect location in the heart of everything. Appreciated it being on the lower level of apartments not having to go up all the stairs to the top. Great host, very responsive!

Fantastic dwelling, great location and excellent hosts. We will definitely look to return to Edinburgh in the future and seek this residence as well as highly recommending it to our friends and family. Our hosts Mark and Dayna were wonderful especially with their wonderful gesture of allowing us to stay an extra night, free of charge, due to The Hogmanay Festival being cancelled. Thank you again. Nevertheless a wonderful visit to Edinburgh underpinned by an excellent apartment and generous hosts.

Right in the heart of the action of High Street. Detailed instructions on how to enter were very helpful. Great view of High Street from the apartment. Lots of activity. Well equipped kitchen to cook meals during longer stays. Thank you Catalina!

Great home to stay in Edinburgh. There are nice markets close to home 5 minutes by walking. It takes 20-25 munites to walk to oldtown however it is easy to go there by bus in 5 minutes. The home was cosy, clean, and great for 2-3 guests. Misha also responded very quickly when we have questions. Highly recommended.

Amazing location - very close to everything you’d want to visit in Edinburgh. Super clean and loved that there was an iron. Will definitely stay again if we’re ever back in Edinburgh.

This place was amazing, seriously exceeded expectations. The location was perfect for exploring the city, so close to everything. The flat itself was super clean and comfortable, with the amenities you could need. Check-in was a breeze, and the host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone traveling here!

We had a great time here ! The apartment was beautifully furnished and in a fantastic location for walking to the Castle, shops and restaurants. We needed a mobility scooter and there were only a couple of steps which were easily negotiated. The lift to the apartment indide the building was invaluable. Communication was great and our arrival and exit seamless. Would highly recommend!
