Lovely stay at the Long barn cottage. It was peaceful, we felt secured and restful after days out visiting places around Cornwall. The place was clean, nice and cozy. Thank you Sarah.

Great value for a lovely quiet retreat for the weekend, easy to get around the North Cornish coast from the location. Accomodation was spotless and very comfortable, would happily stay again as it offered all we need.

A wonderful peaceful place which felt like a retreat. The owners were friendly and being able to join in with feeding the animals in the morning was great (not just for children). Sauna and hot tub was great. They would check what time we wanted it put on which was considerate. Was a surprise weekend for our mum and was even better than expected. Thank you for the stay x

Sharon was a great host and the barn was just as we expected. It is nicely and newly decorated and well equipped with attractive furnishings. Sharon was easy going and helpful with information about the locality. We had a bit of a blip with the shower, but Sharon was helpful and there to assist. We were lucky to be there whilst the wisteria was at its most magnificent and waking to so much bird song was a delight :)

brilliant stay at poppy's barn. we're a family of 5 and it felt cosy and homely. the kids loved playing in the garden and slept well in their twin room. beautiful views and peaceful nights, we rested well in the house. in the area, we thoroughly enjoyed exploring trebarwith strand beach at low tide. we visited tintagel, boscastle and port Isaac. great little villages near by. thank you for having us!

Beautiful place to stay. Kim been very welcomed,very polite. She made home made cake for my daughter's birthday. Absolutely loved to stay there. My daughters was over the moon,seeing and feeding the chickens, that made her day for 110% Thank you for having us :))))

As a family of 8 & 3 generations celebrating Christmas & a special birthday, the farmhouse was simply magical. Will & Danni went above all our expectations with Christmas trees & selection boxes for the kids. The farm looked so beautiful with all the fairy lights & we found everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner for 12! Thank you so much for a simply amazing stay which allowed us to celebrate our first Christmas in six years as a family. We couldn’t recommend you highly enough & hope to be back in the future. The cottage is in a lovely location with great views from one of the double bedrooms and the conservatory and driveway. It felt very homely with the fire very useful, comfy sofas, thick stone walls. Kitchen is a little small but has everything needed, and has a spacious dining area attached. Comfortably fits 6, even 7 with sofa bed, though the two single bed mattresses feel a bit old. It was at a discounted price however with some more work said to be needed. Lovely woodland walk on the doorstep and coast very close. Very quiet and peaceful. Didn’t find pre-warned damp much of an issue. Amy was helpful and attentive though being in a different time zone. Appreciated the private space. A good find.

We booked via Air BnB for a one night stay to celebrate my birthday. The location is such a beautiful area, not a neighbour in sight and had such a relaxed and calming atmosphere. Nicole was such an exceptional host, meeting us when we arrived to show us around. The swimming pool was heated and large and the hot tub was amazing with the massage jets. The surrounding views were just pure bliss. The snug annexe itself was incredibly clean and comfortable and had everything you could possibly want and need. Nicole even added a travel cot and a high chair as we stayed with our little one. Nothing was ever too much for her. We will definitely be coming back soon, we are all sad to be leaving! So glad we came across this hidden gem. Price was great for what was offered. Would’ve been excellent value for money if we didn’t have a baby and could spend more time in the facilities (due to baby getting tired/hungry etc). Really couldn’t have asked for more. 11/10 recommend!! 😊

Couldn’t recommend any more! We had a lovely stay at the Shepherds hut! The hut was clean and had everything we could need! Nat and Mark were super friendly and were so helpful! The small touches were so thoughtful and really made us feel so welcome :) The surroundings are beautiful and a 20-30 minute drive to some beaches! We will definitely be back!

We had a very relaxing stay with beautiful scenic views. Very cozy lodge with nice surrounding areas and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay, perfect getaway - highly recommend!⭐️

This is a lovely place to stay as so close to train station so just park the car short walk to station . Great for exploring around Cornwall. The annex is beautiful clean everything you need for your stay and Sally is always on hand should you need anything. I would highly recommend staying here first class .

Lovely spacious and cosy space for 2 people and a dog. Had all the amenities which we needed and we even managed to enjoy some sunshine on the balcony. Only a 25 minute walk into St Ives so a great location too. Kirsty was also friendly and responsive, and we appreciated all of the local recommendations! Would definitely return in the future.

We only stayed for one night but it was perfect for us. The kids loved the grounds and the animals so much. The lodge was clean, had everything we needed and Kathryn was so lovely and welcoming. We would love to stay again if there are any spaces over the summer :-)

We had a lovely time at Clive & Cassie's. The location was fantastic; it was easy to find (with Clive's clear instructions) and the grounds surrounding the cabin are incredible - immaculately kept. Clive greeted us shortly after arrival to take us through some key points regarding the hot tub, location of the fire wood, etc. Nothing seemed too much and he was super friendly. The cabin is clean, tidy and well equipped. The sofa bed was easy to put up/pack away again. We had a hot tub every day - morning and night - as well as a BBQ (supplied) and firepit. The dogs were free to roam if we wanted, although we chose to use a long lunge lead (terriers and bunnies - not a good mix!) We can't recommend the cabin highly enough. We had the most amazing time creating memories. Thank you, Clive & Cassie.

Once we arrived, Fran was there to greet us. She showed us around the property and how things worked. A little off the beaten track but once there a great countryside location. The property is very modern with great amenities. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you. We were greeted with a welcome bottle of Prosecco and homemade scones with clotted cream and jam, which was a nice touch. There is ample space and we felt like the place was home from home. We used the hot tub just the once, which was lovely and relaxing in the evening with a glass of Prosecco. There is lots to explore in the area, however you do need to drive out. Thanks Fran & Phil for a wonderful stay.

This is a great property in a fantastic location. Really central easy to get to beaches and towns. Claire and her family were very helpful and always responsive. We will definitely use again.

Excellent location and hosts. Beautiful, Serene surroundings. Peaceful and quiet. Hosts Valerie and Tony were wonderful and so was their property. Beautifully set up and decorated, including some photographs taken by Tony himself. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet stay. A bit far from the usual places, meaning you will need your own transportation. But well worth it. Look forward to staying there again

Ed and his wife have done a lovely job at creating a lovely relaxing space and would highly recommend for anyone looking to get away with a few friends or family 😘 they live onsite but we barely saw each other, and whenever we did they were very lovely and welcoming 😘 we fell in love with their beautiful rescue dog who would always ask for a fuss whenever she could 🥹 she is a very gentle doggo who is completely unthreatening (for anyone nervous of doggos) 😘 I made friends with their gorgeous kitty as well who was just as affectionate and sweet 🥹 my girlfriends and I will definitely be coming back! 🤩

Great setting with a fantastic view, garden area for kids and local farm animals to boot. Perfect for anyone wanting a bit of a countryside escape and well located to get to see various spots of Cornwall both north and south and near some national trusts. Host was friendly and responsive and the place had everything we needed including a washing machine and tumble drier. Like any static caravan it can be a bit chilly but there are heaters that work well and although the middle room didn't have a heater but kids slept fine with some long sleeve PJs. Wifi is included but the TV isn't a smart tv - however there is a selection of DVDs and a DVD player and we actually quite liked disconnecting from on demand viewing for a week.

Lovely little country cottage. It is very remote but so peaceful. There are steep steps down to the cottage which may not suit everyone but I there is an alternative way round if you ask. The cottage is exactly as the pictures. Is is very comfortable and spacious. Sarah the host is a lovely lady who is in hand to help if needed. The star of the show though is truffle the dog. He’s super friendly and will come and see you as often as he can. He really is a gentle sole and our Jasper loved having him around. Can’t recommend this place enough as a lovely peaceful base when going and exploring Cornwall

We really enjoyed our stay. A lovely calm place to stay and our daughter enjoyed seeing the chickens in the garden each morning and evening. The place was very clean and well equipped. The drinking water was beautiful from their own well. Our hosts Lindsey and David were very friendly and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed during the bad weather. Would certainly recommend to others as a great place to stay

Amazingly beautiful location, it felt so peaceful! The accommodation was perfect, they have clearly put a lot of thought into what you'll need and how you'll use the place. The alpacas are fabulous! They are so fun to feed! Thank you so much for an awesome stay x

We had a great 4 night stay at Acorn Barn. What an amazing place this is a lovely old stable converted to a cosy little living space, extremely comfy bed and well equipped kitchenette. Having washing / drying facilities was a bonus situated externally to the main space. Parking is straight outside, which was really useful. Well located to explore all of Cornwall , nowhere more than an hours drive away. Some very welcome touches such as biscuits and chocolate was a lovely surprise on arrival. Our host Samantha was extremely helpful and welcoming and provided us some food to allow us to feed the resident hens. There are also some geese and a horse on the grounds, which, have the most amazing views of the Cornish countryside, watching the sun set and rise is amazing , we even heard the owls hooting in the evening. The train line runs in the distance which is also fascinating to watch as they trundle by. All in all a very peaceful place, great surroundings, looking to return soon.
