Lors de l'expérience vous vous initierez à la restauration céramique traditionnelle japonaise. Quelles sont les différentes étapes de restaurations d'une pièce? Pour les curieux adeptes d'expériences nouvelles, l'initiation se réalise en 2h-2h30. Les étapes de collage et comblement sont réalisées à l'aide de matériaux synthétiques. La finition sera appliquée avec les matériaux traditionnels japonais: lalaque végétale Urushi et poudre métallique ! Au choix: le mica qui imite l'or, l'argent, ou le cuivre! We'll begin our visit with a thoroughly Parisian experience: sitting down together over a coffee. We'll get to know each other and I'll give you an overview of three key aspects of our visit--the history of the neighbourhood, an introduction to some of the fin de siècle poets and writers who inhabited the neighbourhood, and finally talk about the English-speaking writers who called Paris home. Feel free to come with questions! Next we'll set out to explore some of the most charming streets in Paris, stopping along the way to see where a number of writers lived: Descartes, Hemingway, Paul Verlaine, Thomas Paine, Jean-Paul Sartre...You'll be able to read a passage of their work at each site. We'll also see important monuments such as the Pantheon, the Sorbonne and the Church of Saint Germain des Près.

Feminists in the City will take you on a convivial journey through key aspects of feminism along the streets of the village-like neighbourhood of the Butte-aux-Cailles, home to a wide variety of feminist street art. We also have other feminist visits, namely Louvre & Feminism, Montmartre with hysterical feminists and Paris' best feminist secrets, taking place every week. Bring your camera with you as there are many beautiful and edgy shots to be taken during the tour! Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the streets of the Butte-aux-Cailles are paved. They are known as the Lost Generation. Eager to share ideas they would gather in the cafés of the Left Bank. We will visit the places where these people lived, worked & partied...Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Man Ray, Gertrude Stein, Ezra Pound....just to name a few. At each location, we will discuss their work, their history & their lives. What brought them to Paris, what they wrote about, what they did. Supported by archival material, this Experience will provide you with photos, anecdotes & insightful quotes about your favorite authors, artists & musicians of the famed Jazz Age of Paris. Apologies to my guests for the lack of photos, but Airbnb have refused my submissions because they do not accept B/W photos. However, during the visit I will share numerous archival photos (B/W) of the authors & musicians in Paris in the 1920s.

Just about 40mn train ride from Paris, you can be totally immersed in the Nature ? During your stay in Paris, how about doing something different and going on a hike in the most beautiful forests in Ile de France. This experience in small group (5 max) brings you to the Fontainebleau Forest. The walk in the forest is an adventure by itself and one can not stop admiring these shaped sandstones boulders. This walk is graded moderate with some ups and downs. But the rewards are astonishing view from different lookout and pristine Nature. It's a perfect tour for winter time. No mud guarantee :-) Join us on this hiking adventure in one of the most beautiful forest in the Paris area. Please be advised that this is a 13 to 15km (8 to 9 miles) hike with several ups and downs. You need to be fit enough if you want to enjoy the walk. Hemingway spent his formative years in Paris. Surrounded by fellow authors such as James Joyce, Gertrude Stein, Ezra Pound & F. Scott Fitzgerald, he transitioned from struggling journalist to seasoned novelist. These men & women were known as the "Lost Generation", many of whom had suffered through the horrors of WW1. They flocked to Paris not only for artistic inspiration but also to find themselves. This tour will take you to the places that Hemingway frequented, where he lived, worked & partied. Along the way I share documented research on his life & exploits, archival photos of Hemingway in Paris, and excerpts of his work. From his first trip to Europe as a volunteer Ambulance Driver in WW1, to his journey embedded with the American troops liberating France in WW2, I will share Hemingway's experiences in Paris, his lives, his loves, his work. We will visit his favorite bars and perhaps share a drink at the end of the tour at Harry's New York Bar. Discover Hemingway's haunts, see rare archival photos of him & of Paris in the 1920's and hear excerpts of his work at each location. If you love Hemingway, this tour is for you !

Découverte de six chefs d'oeuvre signés le Corbusier entre le 13 et le 14e arrondissements, Le parcours le Corbusier dans le sud-est parisien vise à présenter plusieurs constructions notables du célèbre architecte franco-suisse réalisées des années 20 aux années 50. L'une d'elles est peu connue mais dispose d'une façade sobre riche d'enseignements. Une impasse proche permet également d'admirer le jardin et l'arrière. Après avoir émigré en France, Le Corbusier cherche à se faire connaitre et commence à construire pour ses amis proches. C'est ainsi que la première maison qu'il bâtit à Paris, toujours visible aujourd'hui, cherchera à symboliser les règles qu'il édicte dans l'architecture moderne. Ses théories seront reprises par de nombreux autres architectes et auront une influence controversée jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Le tour permettra également d'admirer plusieurs autres édifices qui ont révolutionné l'habitat collectif des années 1920 et 1930. Aujourd'hui certains des bâtiments vus sur le parcours font partie de la liste des constructions de le Corbusier récompensées par l'UNESCO, témoins d'une innovation certaine ainsi que d'une volonté de l'architecte de renouveler l'habitat au service des habitants. Une des ces constructions sera l'occasion d'une étape pour entrer dans le bâtiment afin de découvrir d'autres facettes de de le Corbusier, comme la peinture et le design.
