A faire si mauvais temps ou trop chaud ... Attention, il y a aussi les grottes de Hamson sur la route vers Porto Cristo, bien aussi mais plus petites
A system of caves placed in the hometown of the tenis-player Rafa Nadal. The caves host the lake Martel, considered one of the biggest underground lakes in the world and entrance tiket (around 15-20€) include a boat ride through it!
I suggest booking online if you are staying with us during peak season. It's a little cheaper and it's a good idea to do this in advance as it gets very booked up! It's an amazing place to visit, even with children I'd say from the ages of 4 upwards.
Find the most incredible underground lake in the island and breathe the atmosphere round this magic place.
Located in the village of Porto Cristo, these caves are one of the most remarkable on the island, as they are almost 1,200 metres long and at a maximum depth of 25 metres below the surface. The caves hide a large underground lake, Lake Martel, considered to be one of the largest underground lakes…

“On the northern tip of Mallorca is the Cap de Formentor, where the top end of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range meets the Mediterranean. Cap de Formentor literally means ‘end of Formentor’ The Platja (or Playa) de Formentor is a lovely pine-clad beach in a beautiful cove on the peninsula, with views of the mountains. You can also get there by boat, from the port of Pollença. ”

“One of the most beautiful beaches of the Med. In July and August, get there early on the morning (7am) and enjoy it for yourself. Or do as the locals, hit the beach at 5pm when all the tourists leave. Tip: swim from Cala Mondrago over to the opposite beach of SÁrmador, its 20min return in a nice slow tempo.”
