If you are a beer lover (that means if you like to taste different beers, if you are interested in the diversity and beauty of the product) you can not leave Antwerp without having visited this Café from Dirk en Leentje, the two retired owners who continue to serve beers in this small and old style beercafe that was voted several times the best beer café in the world. It is more a living room than a café. People sit on eachother table. Beerlist is so long you can read all evening. Ask advise from Leen or Dirk. Read the suggestions that change weekly. Ask questions, the owners know everything. Dry sausage and cheese is the only food served. We love this place and the owners. Closes at midnight.

If they allow you to enter it'sa very famous beer bar. The code word to enter is: I came to taste beer. It's a very extravagant place and nice but bit of weird owner, he might have a bad moment and make it the worst day of your life, nevertheless when allowed entrance it's a once in a lifetime experience. Well, some call the Kulminator the best beer-pub in the world. And with more than 800 different beers – mostly Belgian but also many international – it's hard to argue.
