Praia de Quarteira is the main beach of Quarteira. This beach stretches for almost 2 kilometres and is perfect for all sun-seekers and families with children. The sea is calm and the sand is ideal to lay and walk on. You enter the beach from the boulevard of palm trees that is very popular for strolls and bicycle trips. The beach consists of several parts, each divided by small piers made of stone.
