Great place to take the kids on a rainy day to do a craft in the summer. There is plenty of YMCA staff there to help complete a craft in a short afternoon. Check out the website for other activities.

We love the FREE disc golf course at the YMCA! The entire family has fun, we are mostly pretty terrible, but its fun. The course is spread through the grounds and you get to see all the cute rental cabins. Every time we have seen elk on the course, so just be sure to skip the hole and give them some space. If you have a playground ball handy, the Y also has a great 4-square course you can use.

There is just a ton to do at the YMCA of the Rockies. One of our favorite places on their property is the Craft & Design Center. You don't have to be staying at the Y to use this facility. You can get more details on their website, but here is an excerpt: The Craft & Design Center is typically open seven days a week. Year-round, open sections include; painting wood crafts, mosaic, ceramic painting, ceramic glazing, tie dye, sand pouring, leather stamping, kids jewelry and adult jewelry. Starting the end of May, we open silk painting, glass fusing, and basket making, and hours will extend to 9:30 am – 8:00 pm. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

The YMCA of the Rockies has a great 18 hole disc golf course that winds its way through the woods surrounding the facility for a $10 fee.
