Typical french bistrot (the older of paris) good and cheap. It's better to go early or late otherwise you will have to wait in the line.

The place to go for a typical French meal at a tiny price in the oldest restaurant of Paris. A must to be and see! Victim of its success, you have to queue there a bit depending of the time.

Cult adress if you wanna experience a truly old Parisian way of eating: a canteen straight from the 50's with a small menu but only typical dish. Very very affordable (that's also part of the concept).

Dulcería
“As old-school French as chocolates come, a mendiant’s four classic toppings of raisins, hazelnuts, figs and almonds represent the Dominican, Augustinian, Franciscan and Carmelite monastic orders respectively. Nowadays, possibly reflecting a more secular France, ingredients include seeds, dried fruits and peels. À la mère de famille is the oldest chocolatier in Paris and produces some of its finest mendiants.”
