This monastery is a must-see! Guided tours every hour, every day from 9am to 5pm (11am to 6pm in August). If you don't speak Italian, go during weekends and ask for a guided tour in your language!

Once a monastery, today this beautiful building hosts a section of the University of Catania (I also studied there :) ) It smells purity and culture and gives you the idea of the power that the city had in 1700. A true gem.
