Overlooking 22nd St, this is a little spot nearby that people host outdoor weddings at because it's secluded and romantic.

Hidden gem in the neighborhood -- a smaller version of those in Rome.

While wandering through Kalorama, it's always a special treat to find the secluded Spanish Steps. They were inspired by the marvel of the same name in Rome. The stairs are ensconced by magnolia trees and lead to a fountain with a lion’s head. Pack a picnic, or just stop to rest.

Off the Beaten Path - Walk north from the Dupont Circle fountain towards the Kalorama neighborhood. For a much prettier view of historic homes and embassies, avoid Connecticut Ave and instead take 22nd St NW, which will lead you to the "Spanish Steps" of DC.
