Arthur's Seat is an extinct volcano which is considered the main peak of the group of hills in Edinburgh, Scotland, which form most of Holyrood Park, described by Robert Louis Stevenson as "a hill for magnitude, a mountain in virtue of its bold design".

How could not love it, a 3 min walk from my apartment into the heart of an ancient historic volcanic land mark. Wonderful walks and views of the 7 hills of Edinburgh, the coast line and sea, and a very scenic and convenient short walk to Holyrood Palace.
