Big day out so the Zoo allows entry pass to stay valid over 2 days. A 6 km tar road with beautiful picnic grounds. Bikes and buggies available for hire or drive your own car around the track, jumping out to check out for favourite animals and hear keeper talks about the incredible conservation work our zoo does . We can sometimes hear the siamang apes and lions roaring from our front yard

Dubbo’s favourite tourist attraction ! Get a day pass and hire bikes, or a buggy. I suggest going early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the suns going down, otherwise animals are often asleep during the hot summer days.

The zoo is one of the main attractions to Dubbo. Approximately a 12minute drive from Arthur to the other side of town where this amazing experience is located. We advise grabbing a picnic and driving around the zoo in your car or if it isn’t too hot, hire one of their bikes for some exercise & animal seeing.
