This is one of two windmills at the west end of Golden Gate park. The spring it’s garden is filled with tulips. Great photo op

You have to see them to believe they reside in a densely occupied city like SF. But there they are, 2 Dutch Windmills newly resorted at the edge of GG Park and the beginning of the Pacific Ocean.

The Dutch Windmill is located on the west north corner of the park. It was built in 1903 and pumped 30,000 gallons per hour. The Queen Wilhelmina tulip garden is located here as well. The garden is well kept with beautiful blooms year round. There are benches around the base of the windmill that overlook the garden and open lawn. Beautiful photo ops, great for wedding and engagement shots.
