Large park in CBD: Farmers markets every second weekend (alternates Sat/Sun); regular concerts and family events, good picnic spot, Tamworth's huge adventure playground; walking/ cycling track along Peel river, exercise trail, fountains, and duck ponds. .

During Country Music week, there are daily concerts here. It also has a great play equipment for the kids, a nice walking track around the river, and some lovely places to sit and just watch the ducks.
