the ABC murders (TV) The 2019 adaptation of Agatha Christie’s The ABC Murders starring John Malkovich as Detective Hercule Poirot is essentially a highlight reel of the top filming locations in Yorkshire. Almost the whole film is made up of scenes shot in Yorkshire. With some surprising and creative transformations of the original buildings! Just some of the locations used include Bradford City Hall, which took on the role of Scotland Yard. And an underpass at Keighley Station which was incredibly transformed into Kings Cross. Establishing shots of Andover are captured in UNESCO World Heritage Site, Saltaire. Plus, Grosmont on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway played the role of Andover Station. Ripon Spa Baths was transformed into Bexhill Station, while Newby Hall was cast in the role of Carmichael Clarke’s residence at Churston. Other filming locations include Pickering Station, City Varieties in Leeds, Embsay Station, The Queens Hotel and Quebecs Hotel, both in Leeds. This little theatre is legendary - most famous for playing host to the long-running Good Old Days TV show. If you're too young to remember, give it a Google! If you're here in late November to early January, try and get a ticket for the annual Rock 'n' Roll panto - always a fun show with a cast of amazing actor-musicians.

The oldest working music hall in Britain, it still operates a music hall season twice yearly in spring and autumn. The television series 'The Good Old Days' was filmed here.
