This is a lovely pub, really cute inside with great food and a friendly landlord. Kids are really welcomed too. Perfect to go to after a walk at Barnack Hills and Holes which I've also listed.

“Travel back 3,500 years to discover what life was like for our prehistoric ancestors at the finest Bronze Age archaeological site in Northern Europe. Discovered by Francis Pryor in 1982, the remains of a prehistoric causeway can be seen by visitors. Flag Fen, east of Peterborough, England, is a Bronze Age site developed about 3500 years ago, comprising over 60,000 timbers, arranged in five very long rows, creating a wooden causeway across the wet fenland.”

“Loads of two for one cocktail deals which are nearly always on and caribbean food too. Gets full of 'kids' at the weekends but if you get a table outside or away from the bar you can still get some peace!”

“Local favorite. They have a fantastic selection of real ales, beers, ciders and other drinks. Live music is a usual weekly feature. Have a drink in a converted barge or out by the river.”
