Biserica Crețulescu, considerată unul din cele mai valoroase monumente de arhitectură ale orașului de la sfârșitul perioadei brâncovenești, a fost ridicată între anii 1720-1722 prin grija marelui logofăt Iordache Crețulescu și a soției sale Safta, una din fiicele domnitorului Constantin Brâncoveanu.

Did you know that 200 years ago, this church was the only building that was constructed in this area? Cismigiu Park, Sala Palatului and other landmarks were not constructed yet and on their place were vineyards.

An 300 years old church. The orthodox church St Nicolae - Kretulescu is an important Romanian church, situated near the Revolution Square. It's a very beautiful church, built in Brancoveanu style 300 years ago. The inside atmosphere inspire a beneficial peace.
