Our favourite restaurant is in Hervey Bay, Italian, relaxed, kid friendly, not expensive, great pizzas and platters, nice wine - it's called Paulo's and it's on the Esplanade, they don't take bookings, very popular spot, closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

15 minutes walk heading east (or turn right on the Esplanade). Paulo's is one of the local favourites for authentic wood fired pizza and delicious pasta. The décor is great and the bar is well stocked!
