Alameda open space is a scenic spot to walk, run, or bike. It’s great for any number of travelers to get some fresh air and enjoy time along the Rio Grande. My husband and I like to grab some coffee and cocoa for us and the kids at Satellite Coffee right down the street and head to the open space.

One of the nations premier urban bike/walking trails. Plenty of parking and bathrooms. From here you can bike ride, horse ride, run, walk, or rollerblade along the paved bosque trail, or enjoy a hike under the cottonwoods along the banks of Rio Grande river.

Only a mile away and just breathtaking. Flat bike / walking trails. Lots of shade. Enjoy a picnic under the Cottonwoods!

Beautiful views, parallel to the Rio Grande river. The trail is a 16 mile trail there and another 16 mile back. Perfect for bikers. You can just go to enjoy the views or kayak or canoe.
