This place is so fun to eat at. This is a super low budget spot where you order from a deli case, they heat your food and you either eat standing at the counter or take it to the street and eat on a staircase next door. Not for everyone, but its a unique cultural experience and the food is delightful.

Best for a post-party dinner/snack - Looking for authentic, cheap but delicious Indian food. This is the place that a lot of the taxi drivers in New York trust. Its as authentic as it can get.

I used to eat here all the time when I first moved to NYC. Just the best people and best vibe. You can eat on the stairs outside the deli.

Amazing Indian food deli A New York institution , Crazy good value - you can get a whole nutritious meal here for 4 dollars , Nuff said!
