Although Shakespeare does not exactly indicate the location of his tragedy Othello, reporting only the “sea harbor in Cyprus,” no one doubts that it was Famagusta - the main port of the island at that time.

It's the Othello Castle! Again, made by Lusignans, and it gets its name from Shakespeare's play, Othello. There is a Shakespeare Sculpture at the left side of the castle in a small garden which offers a peaceful reading spot.
