This is something interesting to see. Not so close to Veliko Tarnovo, but if you want to visit it we would arrange somethin. If you are interested also in that kind of experiences, just tell me and I will recommend you lots more.

A most wonderfully beautiful little place ☺️ a real life working village with a river running through it ☺️ with restaurants cafes and real workshops selling hand made goods :)

It's an open air ethnographic museum with typical for Bulgarian Renaissance architecture and crafts spirit. Here you can see in fact how the water is powering different machines for producing some materials and goods. If you are a lover of candies and sweets, here you can find a small craft shop for hand made candy canes, sugar cats or Gabrovian chocolate (made from plums) :) Enjoy.

Etara is an open-air museum. It presents the Bulgarian customs, culture and craftsmanship. It contains a total of 50 objects including water installations and houses with craftsmen's workshops. It represents the architecture and way of life during the Bulgarian National Revival.
