Cartwright Hall " consists mainly of 19th and 20th century British art, with strong collections of international contemporary prints and contemporary South Asian art and crafts." It also is a gallery with a collection that has breadth and depth that it is hard to beat; Damien Hirst, and Andy Warhol two of the fashionable global names. Also Lowry and Hockney as two local “lads”.

David Hockney art gallery in the centre of a well-kept park in Bradford. Can be reached by train with a walk or driving. Sometimes has funny opening hours. There is also a park run in this park if you enjoy a Saturday morning run. There is a much more local park run at Aireville park.
