Enjoy a walk over the saddle and along the secluded white sandy beach. Cross the stream at the northern end of Whangapoua Beach and follow the rocky foreshore around to the headland. Here a walking track takes you over the saddle and down into New Chums Beach through nīkau and pōhutukawa.

Secluded beach that is in the top 10 of New Zealand Beaches... a low tide activity as there is a stream to cross and some rock hopping to access the walking trail.... it is a truly beautiful location.
