“Our family's favorite Indian restaurant in all of Seattle. We happened to walk into this family-owned and operated gem about 12 years ago for a lunch break from the University. Nestled at the top of "The Ave" - the famous conglomeration of international restaurants near the University of Washington, you might miss it if you don't have an "insider" telling you about it. It's got all the charm and intimacy of a family dining room, with the taste and flavor rivaling some of the more well-known (and much more expensive) places in the city. We've watched the family that runs it go throughout changes and their children grow; the service is heartwarming and the dishes delicious - highly recommended”
