Long, difficult hikes with stunning views! Located in the “garden of Ireland”, Glendalough is a very popular day trip destination! A quick 40 minute drive from Mullawn, Glendalough is a must see location!
Ancient monastic site and round tower in the beautiful Glendalough valley with its 2 lakes. There are short walks around the lakes. Set aside 4 hours or so if you do the longer walk around the valley, well laid out with sections of boardwalk to make it possible.
This is one of the wonders of Wicklow and a must do when you visit Ireland. Walk right around the lakes and experience Ireland as it was thousands of years ago. A true heritage site. A car would be ideal for this trip but you can reach Glendalough by bus from bray at 12.15 everyday from the Town…
