Visit Havnebadet Islands Brygge. Take a dip in the harbor. It's great all year. Only within the yellow marked areas.
If the weather gets very warm it is an absolute must to go to one of the areas in the harbour, and take a dip. This was the first swimming zone to be implemented in Copenhagen and therefore is quite popular.
There is “havnebad” all over Copenhagen. Go for a dip ore a swim in the harbor
Take a swim in the natural pool in the middle of the city. There’s a baby pool with shallow water, one for older kids and a swimmers pool. Gets busy on warm days, but great for a cool down for kids and adults. One stop on the metro and 10 minutes by bike.
Here are 3 places were you can swim in Copenhagen Harbor. Islands Brygge, Fisketorvet and Sluse Holmen. Very nice places
Super place to sunbathe and chill out during summertime. Can be quite crowded on hot summer days. The water is clean and safe to swim in.
Swim in the harbour in this free outdoor pool, usually a bit crowded but a must-see.
If you like a swim right in the center of the city in crystal clear water, that's where you should go.
In the winter, the Copenhagen Habour Bath is open for Winter-Swimming and Sauna Therapy - even if the canal freezes over. Check out the options for tourists as some access require membership. They do have some open pre-membership courses for brave souls that want to try it out. I hear it should be…
Islands Brygge Harbour Bath is not only a favorite frolicking spot for children and adults of all ages it has also become an architectural distinguishing mark of Copenhagen. It’s free to use, there are life guards present and the water quality is checked daily, so there is nothing to worry about.

“Christiania (also called Fristaden or just Staden) is an area in the Christianshavn district of Copenhagen with an area of approx. 34 hectares. In 2010, approx. 630 adults and approx. 130 children with Christian register address at Christiania. Christiania is Copenhagen's fourth largest tourist attraction, which has about half a million visitors a year, but is also characterised by extensive cannabis trade. This place of the city is a must see for foreigners as it is so different from the rest of the city as well as the rest of the world. Here you will find street art, a hippie lifestyle, vegan restaurants and sometimes concerts. It is important to mention that the area is also famous for its 'pusher street' where soft drugs are sold illegally. However, it is completely safe to be there and very family friendly. ”
