Take a day trip to this fantastic nature reserve. They take you by boat , with a tractor up the mountain and then its a lovely walk to a great outdoor lunch back at the restaurant

Ferry across the lagoon to Featherbed for a restaurant meal. Be transported to the top of the reserve with breathtaking views of Knysna, then hike down back to Featherbed restaurant along coastline.

We recommend you take the John Ben boat from Knysna and go and eat at the new restaurant. During December and January, there is a bar which is accessible by boat. There is also a short hike which is included with the John Ben experience.
