Home to historic monuments dating back to Aztec times, the Centro Historico is the heart of the city. Located around the massive El Zócalo square, the area draws tourists to museums and iconic buildings, such as the Museo de Bellas Artes and the Catedral Metropolitana . Street vendors and basic taquerias coexist in harmony with refined restaurants along the bustling pedestrian Calle Madero.

You are in the best location to be close to downtown. You can walk through reforma to visit one of the most memorable places in Mexico city. You can start at Bellas artes/ Alameda and walk all the way to Zocalo and main Cathedral. You will also find templo mayor and one of the best museums in town.
