Family friendly and neat seasonal exhibits! They also have monthly “adult” nights with wine/beer and some sort of game (ie- trivia, scavenger hunts, etc)
The Museum of Idaho hosts traveling exhibits as well as a permanent local history exhibit. The building itself is also historic- it used to be the Idaho Falls public library, and it was built with money from a Carnegie grant. I especially love the old Eagle Rock townsite replica on the ground floor!
Seasonal exhibits are always outstanding. They have a year-round section that explains the history of Idaho Falls, the Idaho national laboratory, and explains the Native American culture before Idaho Falls was settled.
Historic Library invited into a museum. Great traveling exhibits and a fun permanent exhibit in the basement with local history.
