When you come to Quebec, Orlean Island is a must see for those who like local farming and local food and drinks experiences. At least a day to have a good look.
Great for a daily visit and near the old Quebec so you can visit both in the same day !
Located just 20 minutes out of the city, this Island will charm you with it’s many farms, orchards and ancestral houses. You can drive around the whole Island in an hour but you’ll want to stop in a couple of places to taste local products and bring back souvenirs, like Vignoble St-Pétronile,…
Very nice place for wine tasting or sugar shack during Winter. It's a bike ride day full of things to see.
Go to the tourist information at the entrance of the island. Agro-tourisme par excellence : - Wine, cider, beer tasting - Apple, strawberry picking - Etc.
