The National Aquarium is in downtown Baltimore and about a 40 minute drive from Annapolis. It is worth the trip and the price of admission. If you have never been, it is a must see!

Always a nice activity for family, friends, solo, or couples. They have some special items on their website like early access tour, family sunrise tours, sharks behind the scenes tour, dolphin training sessions and more. I'd definitely recommend a trip if you have time.

Whether you're solo or on a family trip carve out some time to experience The National Aquarium. Buy tickets early if you've got a large group, kids enjoy the 3-D movies, and no need to bring a lunch, the aquarium has a full service cafeteria.
