A quite extraordinary Gothic Revival Victorian House – a shortish drive to get there but well worth a visit – the Gibb family who built it made their money importing guano as fertiliser. Extensive formal and market gardens.

National Trust property bought in 2001 and still being restored to its former glory. Wonderful setting among woods and fields on the edge of Wraxall village. Lovely grounds and gardens. Fully restored and productive walled kitchen garden.
