“The Basilica of St. Josaphat is a ministry of the Conventual Franciscans on the South Side of Milwaukee in Historic Lincoln Village. The Basilica is a Franciscan center for prayer and spirituality, inspiration and beauty. It is home to a vibrant Roman Catholic parish and remains a testament to the faith of the Polish immigrants that created it.This is a great example of Romanized magnificent architectural designs. This church was named after the archbishop of Poland around 1600s, St Josaphat.”

“Just a block away, this is a fun and lively pub with pretty typical Irish fare and of course Guinness. Happy hour M-Th 4-6.”

“Like real butter? I do! My dog kennel used to be near Solly's and let's just say, I've lost a few pounds since moving away! Fantastic burgers dripping in butter. Wonderful fries too. All the locals dine here. A group of veterans come for coffee on Friday morning if you want to give your respects. ”
