Glen Echo Park is an arts and cultural center located in Glen Echo, Maryland that, in its former incarnation, was a popular Washington, D.C.-area amusement park that operated for several decades from the early 1900s to the 1960s

Built in the late 1800's, Glen Echo Park used to be an amusement park, and since its closure in the 1960's, it has undergone restorations and one of the most popular sites is the carousel, as it's the only functioning ride now. Still a pretty park and there's always some kind of event going on…
Not a symphony hall, but a huge traditional dance hall with live music - big band, salsa, swing - all weekend long.
