Local Japanese restaurant. A great place for lots of fun rolls and fast service. Never had a bad meal here and the price is pretty good too.
Nori is close to the El tracks and is open late if you need Japanese. I find it loud and the sushi a bit over-elaborate, but this place has been around forever and is always packed.

“This pan-Asian place tucked under the El tracks has a very wide selection of cheap and good eats. Try the curry/roti appetizer, it is amazing.”

“The founders Sam Levine, Fred Bartoli (cab drivers) & a friend George Loverde opened Gino's East at 1966 at 162 East Superior St. They never knew the first thing about making pizza. They hired the right people, specifically former Uno’s Pizzeria cook and one of inventor of deep dish pizza, Alice May Redmond, as well as her sister, Ruth Hadley. ”
