The prettiest mountain bike trail in the Tahoe Basin. Park behind Tunnel Creek Cafe (if you are renting bikes) and you can rent bikes and get a shuttle to the start of the trail through Flume Trail Bikes. It’s a 12.8 mile ride that goes by Marlette lake and then along a gorgeous single track…

This is a relatively flat hike that allows you to go for as short or long as you want. It connects to Diamond Peak. There are also mountain bikers on this trail so be mindful, but I've never had an issue.

“The second of the two private beaches you get access to as my guest. You have to stop by the Recreation Center will call desk to pick up the tickets I'll arrange for you. Then you go to the beach kiosk to pay the daily fee ($15 for adults, $6 for kids 6-17, kids 5 and under free). This beach does not have pool, but it's better for wading in the lake in bare feet (Burnt Cedar Beach's wading area is rocky). Also, you can launch a boat here if you pay the $18 fee and get the inspection done offsite (google that, it's a bit of a pain but worth it if you have a boat).”
