The Walk of Fame is where all the tourists love to have a "Hollywood" experience, complete with the stars in the sidewalk for famous people. Runs West to East from La Brea Ave to Gower St, and also North to South when it intersects Vine St.

If you can avoid the Walk of Fame, please do. It can be very crowded and touristy. If you'd like to go anyway, Mann's Theater has a selection of "stars" embedded in its courtyard, and the theater is great. The Hollywood Roosevelt hotel across the street is a great spot for a burger or a drink by the pool.

Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is the awarding organization of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This is the only official website for a complete database of stars on Hollywood's sidewalks. This is also the official page where you can find out about announcements on upcoming Hollywood Walk of Fame Star ceremonies on Hollywood and Vine Boulevards.

It's a tourist attraction. Street performers and plenty of tourists visit the attraction. Be careful at night. It's not glitz and glamour in reality.
