Wynyard Planetarium and Observatory is an educational and entertainment resource for schools, colleges and the general public. It is operated by Teesside Astronomical Science Centre (TASC), a non-profit charitable organisation set up to run the facility and to promote astronomical and space education, along with the assistance of both the Cleveland and Darlington Astronomical Society (CaDAS) and Durham Astronomical Society (DAS).
