With a craft cider fest, and an excellent range of ales, this vibrant little spot has a great atmosphere. Although an older building, it's the range available which spoil people who visit The North Star , coupled with the crowd.

One of the best pubs in Ealing with where locals proclaim one of the best beer gardens in Ealing. With tables aplenty for resting your pint or for a spot of alfresco dining, plus parasols and ample heating The North Star doesn't disappoint! 43 The Broadway, London, Greater London, W5 5JN 020 8579…

Bar
“A large and very typical English pub with good food. It has a massive garden at the rear which is great for children and they often have barbecues in the summer. If you want to sample English beer, always have the hand pulled ales. Remember, English beers are not fizzy and are served cool but not cold. My husband likes London Pride which is brewed locally by Fullers, but they have a selection of beers. India Pale Ale (IPA) is also a favourite. It was the answer to the problem of providing beer for the British Empire in the east. It was too hot to brew in India, so what was needed was a beer that could survive the gruelling six-month journey from Britain intact. In the 1780s, a London brewer called Hodgson answered the call by sending out a strong, heavily hopped beer called October ale that would normally be aged like wine before drinking. The beer not only survived the journey, but was found to have improved immeasurably. This was the prototype IPA; the beer gradually became paler and more refreshing to suit the Indian climate. It's now drunk all over the World. ”
