Amazing sushi in downtown hillsboro in the basement of the old library. Their fish is incredible and they buy direct by the Tokyo fish market. Get the specials...always amazing.

This is the best! I have not had anything here I didn't enjoy. Great food, outstanding atmosphere and you have got to try sake from their extensive list.

Was listed as one of the best Japanese restaurants in the country from a 2006 Zagat survey. An izayaka is a type of informal Japanese pub. They are casual places for after-work drinking. So HUGE saki selection and the food is made in a "tapas" style format. Many small plates of very tasty food. Expect to spend from $11-$30 on food. Pro tip" Get the gyu tataki (seared beef in ponzu sauce), trust me - you will thank me later.
