Iconic I.M. Pei designed building with free weather display inside open 365 days. Lovely trail to the foot of the Flatirons. Easy walk.

Close hike with amazing views. I recommend you hike at least 100 feet beyond the large water tower. The drive to the trailhead offers amazing views as well.

Google maps will take you to NCAR easily. From the parking lot you should see the trailhead. Lots of well marked trail options up there. The most scenic drive in Boulder, just to get there

Another great jumping off point for lots of hikes. Can connect with the Chautauqua trails from here as well. Parking is located at NCAR- National Center for Atmospheric Research (1850 Table Mesa Dr)
