Great FREE parking spot to go use the bike trail along the river or spend the day in Tahoe City. 64 acere's the park where the Transit Center is located also has a lakeside and a beach which is often empty. Bike trail access also goes back towards house and down west shore to Sugar Pine Point State Park.

You can catch transportation to a lot of places around the lake from here.

You can catch the TART Bus line less than 1/2 mile from house on Hwy 28 near Country Club Dr. Take your bike on the bus to Tahoe City Transit Center and ride the Truckee River Trail, or along the Lake. In the summer you can catch the Trolley here and take it all the way to Emerald Bay and South Shore (avoiding traffic and parking)

All buses come trough this spot for access to all bus directions. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the stairs of the Airbnb as well!
