great hike to a fun overlook of the lake, about 3 miles round trip and some.fun rock climbing if you have the gear located here with fantastic views.

Looking out the window towards the lake, Castle Rock is to your right. It's the unmistakable granite mass sticking out of the forest. To get there: Walk or drive to the trailhead, and it's a short hike with stunning lake views at the end of the trail.

I like to climb up here and get a panoramic view of Lake Tahoe. You'll have to scramble a bit at the last bit. Just watch your footing and you'll be fine

Castle Rock is an amazing non-winter hike to a spot that looks out over the entire lake! Absolutely stunning views during sunrise and sunset.
