Bring your running shoes or your bike or your dog and go take a run, ride or walk on trail covering miles of the city along Town Lake.
Kayaking, canoeing, paddle boating, walking, running and bicycling trails...beautiful!
This area is home to a scenic hike and bike trail as well as water activities such as stand-up paddleboarding and canoeing.
Hop on a scooter. Download the Lime or Bird app. Take Chicon St. All the way until it dead ends at the river. Park it, since scooters are not allowed on the trail. Walk along the river trail and head to Salvation Pizza, Rainey Street, to watch the bats, Alta Cafe, and more. Or rent a bike and ride…
Want to get outside and go for a walk? Check out town lake! Go for a short or long walk (the full loop is 12 miles) but you can make it as short or long as you want. Catch some fresh air and walk through the center of the city at the same time!
1 - Hiking and Biking - The Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail is over 10 miles long and makes a complete circuit around Lady Bird Lake. The trail is mostly flat and composed of crushed granite, making it a great place to go for a jog with friends or a nice bike ride.
Great view of Downtown Austin, while paddle boarding, canoeing, running, biking or just relaxing!
