City of Muiden at river Vecht. Many nice bars, restaurants and Amsterdam Castle, all in walking distance. Boat to Pampus Fort Island highly recommended as well!
Muiden is a nice place to cycle through. Have a drink at the lock and watch the ships pass by, if the weather allows it. If not, there's always still the Muiderslot, an interesting castle that you can visit. You can also take the boat to Pamus, an artificial island holding a sea fort built in the late 19th century & now open to summer visitors.
This is a traditional village with a famous castle you can visit . Also nice to have a drink on the lock there and see the boats pass by
A 45 minute bike ride from Amsterdam is Muiden - a small picturesque town with a castle! From there, take another 30 minute bike ride to Naarden - a star shaped town.
